Q: What happens if I miss my pickup?
A: Due to the perishable nature of produce, no-call no-show missed pickups cannot be stored indefinately. However, we strive to provide the best customer service possible and we understand that life happens. If you are running late or if something comes up, please contact us as soon as possible if an emergency arises.

A: We source from a mix of local farms, regional suppliers, and ethical distributors depending on season and availability.

A: Some items may be organic, but not all. We prioritize affordability, freshness, and quality over labels.

A: Typically, yes. But not always. Seasonal availability may require substitutions of equal or greater value.

A: No. We are a community-focused nonprofit offering limited, rotating produce kits as grant funds allow.

A: No. Quantities, locations, and schedules vary based on sourcing, funding, and capacity.

A: Very much so. We appreciate patience as we build something sustainable and community-centered.

A: Not at this time, but we’re working toward more flexible options in the future.

A: No. Our food education resources are publicly available because everyone deserves access to knowledge.

A: Because SSF strongly believes that food education should never be paywalled.
